Session: Urban Renewal and Resilient Community---Sustainable Development and International Youth Innovation Forum 2020
From December 22 to 23, the "2020 sustainable development and International Youth Innovation Forum" was held in Shenzhen Youth Square by Shenzhen Science and technology innovation Commission, Shenzhen Youth Federation, Shenzhen Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion Association and Shenzhen Institute of sustainable development with the strong support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the United Nations Asia Pacific Economic and Social Council. With the theme of "innovation driven, science and technology enabled, high-quality sustainable development", more than 30000 young people from more than 70 countries all over the world attended the innovation event through the combination of online and offline, looking forward to the bright future of International Youth Science and technology innovation, and advocating science and technology innovation to promote human sustainable development.

At the meeting, Ms. Omnia sreeni ong put forward the ideas and methods of building inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities. Ms. omnia pointed out that we should encourage and promote effective partnerships among the public, private sector and civil society organizations in the implementation of sustainable development goals. Ms. omnia introduced the Malaysian cso-sdg alliance, which is committed to the social, economic and environmental issues in Malaysia. She shared the successful cases of the organization, such as improving children's growth environment, creating income for women, providing health care plan, etc., which provided us with experience for SDG localization.
Ms. Maria chin Abdullah believes that sustainable development must include changes in existing ideas, space and life. The sustainability of cities means the creation of jobs and business opportunities, the provision of safe and affordable housing, and the construction of resilient society and economy. It means increasing investment in public transport, making cities more green, and improving urban planning and management in a participatory and inclusive way. Ms. Maria stressed the need to solve specific problems in such areas as employment, education, new business creation, health care and environment, and establish an effective platform to communicate with local institutions to solve local problems, so as to implement various government policies.

Mr. Huang Haifeng expounded that the industrialization of modern society has brought convenience to life, but also caused great damage to the ecological environment. Zhang Yalong introduced the case of Shenzhen sustainable development demonstration community "Nankeng community". It aims to build inclusive, safe, risk resilient and sustainable cities and human settlements. Provide safe, inclusive, barrier free and green public space for all people, especially women, children, the elderly and the disabled. Community is the unit cell and stable foundation of a city. To get through the "last mile" of urban governance, it is necessary to make every effort to improve the level of community management and service, meet the needs of residents in pursuit of high-quality sustainable development, promote the harmonious development of the community, enhance the autonomous ability of the sustainable development of the community, resolve the problems of community management, and solve the people's problems from the list of problems of grassroots needs The most concerned, direct and prominent problems of the masses should build the community into a warm harbor for residents to live and work in peace and contentment.
At the meeting, Mr. Wang Wenzhao introduced off grid sewage treatment and sustainable urban and rural development, stressed the necessity and importance of off grid sewage treatment for solving water pollution, and helped sustainable development and urban and rural green development.
